Making Art Work

The artist's proceeds from commissioned art or art sales from the October 2009 show went to Making Art Work, a special program of the Carter Burden Center for the Aging. Carter Burden Center for the Aging promotes the well-being of elderly residents through a broad array of direct social services and volunteer programs oriented to individual, family and community needs. Aging Artists are encouraged to continue with their artistic endeavors and we are proud to contribute to the center.
